1. Negative Coggins (EIA) must be shown at the Entry Booth when you enter (Current of the preceding calendar year.)

2. Youth 14 years of age and under must wear an approved helmet whenever they are riding on LCHA Club Grounds. This is the New York State Law.

3. Proper attire is required by contestants in each division (English, Western and Games).  No tank tops, T-shirts, or sneakers.  Boots with 3/4” heel are required for all events at LCHA Grounds.

4. No stallions allowed in youth classes.

5. Any grievance shall be taken to the Board of Directors for a decision.

6. Junior horses (5 & under) may use a bosal.

7. No mechanical hackamores, gimmicks or tie-downs may be used in any judged classes, (this includes the COMMAND class also) - Fun Time Shows included.

8. Abuse to animals will not be tolerated on Club Grounds. Violators will be excused from the remaining classes with NO REFUNDS.

9. No hitting in front of the cinch while riding in the ring.

10. In case of broken equipment the rider must declare it BEFORE completing the course and a rerun will be awarded.

11. No entry fees returned unless the class is canceled, and/or serious injury to horse or rider is declared in the ring.

12. All entries must be made one class in advance, at the discretion of the Show Committee.

13. Horses to be ridden once in each event—excluding roping and penning, or walk/jog.

14. Everyone RIDES AT THEIR OWN RISK.

15. The decision of the judge is final.

16. In the event of all places not being filled, the class will not be rerun, and only places filled will be paid.

17. Payback classes with less than four (4) entries will be canceled, excluding youth classes.

18. Must enter and exit the arena at a walk.

19. All dogs must be on a leash.

20. Two calls will be given to enter the ring or the contestant will be disqualified, unless there is a valid excuse.

21. Walk/jog riders must only walk or jog, they cannot allow their horses to break into a lope or they are disqualified.

22. There will be NO RUNNING of horses on the outside of the ring. This creates dangerous situations for yourself and others.

23. Walk/jog riders may have an adult present in their class as long as the adult is not leading the rider.
